The enthralling and peaceful surroundings of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Site of Special Scientific Interest SSSI make this an ideal holiday base for bird watchers and country lovers, or for those looking for a quiet retreat.
Mill Lane forms part of the Suffolk Coast Path and the Suffolk Coastal Cycle Route. There are RSPB reserves close by as well as Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh, Orford, Woodbridge and Framlingham. Interesting places to eat out can be found in the locality.

The four-storey building stands on the side of a narrow road with the mill pond to the back. It has been converted to a high standard into 5 self-catering holiday apartments, each of an individual nature. In all there are nine bedrooms giving a total occupancy of 18.
The whole ground floor has been developed to provide interesting communal and recreational areas with the capability of seating and tabling for 18 in one area.

Mill lane is part of the suffolk coastal cycle route and the suffolk coastal path.
