Originally powered by water and steam The Mill and
the adjacent Mill House stand on the brink of tidal water with
views across reed beds and meadows. The enthralling and peaceful
surroundings of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)
and Site of Special Scientific Interest SSSI make this an ideal
for a business retreat.
Butley Mills is easily accessible from the A12,
Woodbridge, Snape, Orford and Aldeburgh.
The four-storey Mill building stands on Mill Lane
and has been converted to 5 high standard self-catering apartments,
each of an individual nature. In the mill there are nine bedrooms
giving a total occupancy of 18. Adjoining the Mill are two Georgian
self catering cottages, each having a garden and able to sleep
6 adults. The cottages can be interconnected.

The ground floor of the Mill has been developed
to provide interesting communal and recreational areas. The main
room is 46 square meters, with the capability of seating and tabling
for 30. The room opens out on to the decked area overlooking the
mill pond.
If you need a break for a few moments, you can walk
in to the room next door for a game of pool or to step out in
to the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside.
