On the first floor is a balcony overlooking the
reed beds. The reed beds can also be viewed from a private footpath
and grassed seating area along the river wall. An extensive area
of west facing decking, which is linked to a patio with bar-be-que
facilities, overlooks the mill pond. The decking is completely
fenced with child proof wire netting and is not readily accessed
by young children.
Four of the apartments are accessed by a wide central
staircase with shallow risers, whilst the fifth enjoys a private
external staircase.
Bed linen and towels are provided, but not bedding
or linen for cots.
There is usually a member of staff at the
mill between 9.00 and 9.30am to offer any help and assistance
guests may require.
The main entrance into Butley Mills gives access
to the central staircase as well as the remainder of the ground
floor. Designed and equipped as a communal and utility area, this

Outside amenity areas include decking overlooking
