Just wanted to let you know what a terrific break we had in Samphire this Easter. The children just loved the apartment and staying in a Mill! I was inspired by the views to get my watercolour paints out and do a sketch of the view from the balcony and my eldest daughter did the same of view over mill pond.

We had super days out at Orford, Sutton Hoo and cycling on the UFO trail on bikes that we hired from the very friendly, helpful and reasonably priced Garage in Orford.

We would wish to express our thanks to you and your team for another fantastic stay at Butley Mills.

It was great to come back and see the place still in tip-top condition, with added facilities and mountains of local info. Our boys, now 18 months older than last time, thoroughly enjoyed using the snooker table and were introduced to some new board games on the wet Saturday afternoon.

As well as the beaches and the forest trails we found some new places to explore and eat, which makes returning even more interesting.

Thank you very much for a wonderful weekend at Mill Cottages. The success of the weekend was entirely due to the quality of the accommodation, and its location. For a family of three generations celebrating Grandad's 80th birthday we could not have wished for more. From the resident kingfisher in the mill pool to the marsh harriers over the reed beds. The superb Milky Way whilst walking back from the excellent local pub and the absolute silence. We will be back.
